Dr Hassan-Ali Ismail is a travelling oral and implant surgeon offering expert care in all aspects of oral surgery. His clinical expertise includes simple and complex tooth removals, high-risk wisdom teeth, cyst management, dental implants, bone grafting, sedation for anxious patients, and more.
With bespoke surgical instruments and a calm, reassuring manner, Dr Ismail has performed thousands of procedures across the UK, earning a reputation for high quality care and patient comfort.
Education and Training
Dr Ismail graduated from the University of Sheffield, where he received a prize in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He began his career with foundation training and went on to join the oral and maxillofacial surgery team at Manchester Royal Infirmary. There, he gained hands-on experience managing trauma, infections, jaw dislocations, and oral cancers.
His surgical training continued in South Wales, focusing on impacted wisdom teeth and the care of anxious patients through conscious sedation and behavioral techniques.
Professional Experience
Following his hospital-based surgical training, Dr Ismail expanded his experience by working in community dental services. He managed care for both children and adults with complex medical and behavioral needs.
In addition to clinical practice, he held a position at Health Education England, where he led a national peer review project and contributed to procurement processes as a clinical evaluator for oral surgery services.
Dr Ismail then completed his specialist training in Yorkshire where he worked alongside distinguished surgeons in oral surgery providing excellent care. He developed his skills in all aspects of oral surgery, complex dentoalveolar surgery to the management of facial pain.
Dr Ismail is also active in research and education, having published in several areas of maxillofacial surgery and presented at national and international conferences. He is committed to mentoring and teaching fellow clinicians.
Away from the clinic, Dr Ismail enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and studying languages.
